I'll start!

  • Pass Mr. Sanders on his R6. I don't care if it's on the straight. And when I do it, I'll feel bad because he taught me how to make it happen....
  • Pass my brother every chance I get! :D
  • Have Lenny tell me I carried enough speed into a fast turn.
  • Figure out how to get a Liter bike to the apex at maximum speed.
  • 1:31 at Thunderbolt
  • Mock race?
  • Drag elbow
  • Stay safe
Most years, I only accomplish 1-2 goals so we'll see!

Funny - even before I read your post (and just saw the title) it was "Kick your ass". . .Now "it's kick your ass up and down every track". . .:)

  • brake markers
  • entry speed
  • using the whole track
  • documenting on video head shaking back and forth from a certain yellow R6 rider (rear camera of course). . .

1-Get to point on track were I don't think of my wreck(shouldn't take too long)

2-Ride every A session so I can follow Dave around various BMW's on my 12yo Frankenbike!

3-Help my fellow track junkies reach their highest potential.

4-Work in exit speed.

5-Go into every track day with a specific plan.

  • Get my foot positioning down
  • Increase understanding and start logbook of basic setup (pressures and suspension)
  • Consistent braking
  • Purposeful corner exit
  • Sub 1:20s on Lightning, into the 1:10s on Beaverun

Have fun. Hopefully on my last track day I said what a great year!
Get on track more. Didn't do as much as I wanted last year.
More track days and less racing. Got away from having fun and was to focus on results.
Not race but ride with my buddies for a change and still reach my personal track goals.
Learn more about suspension. Its the key to going fast.

See God before entering turn 1.
Take it to the lock at every corner exit.
At least do 3 different "away" track days.
Place top 10 in a CCS race by my second race and top 5 by the last NJ round.
Watching out for and showing up the old guys who think they're gonna get away with bullying me around the track all season long.:D

And most of all to have fun, be safe, and do the best I can possibly do while laying down blazing hot laps. See you guys on Star Wars day.

My retroactive goal every morning is to have three less beers the night before.
