Calibration of QuickCar tire pressure gauge sold at NESBA trailer

Hello,

I bought a QuickCar liquid filled tire pressure gauge from the NESBA trailer in 2007. I just noticed that when not in use it's stuck at 2 PSI, instead of 0 PSI. Does anyone know if these gauges are always like that or if it's miscalibrated by 2 PSI now? Is there a way to calibrate it back to 0 PSI?

Thanks,
Chris

Here is what they have on there web site. "QuickCar has taken a new approach to this issue and made a more user friendly tool. QuickCar has designed an interior diaphragm that automatically adjusts to these changes. As a result no manual equalization is necessary."

Here is the site. http://www.quickcar.net/tire_mgmt/lq_tire_ga.html

Don't know if this refers to yours or not but thought it might help.

I do know tire gages come out of calibration and it's usually cheaper to replace them when they do. I have one very nice gauge that i keep in a cool safe place, out of the way of vibrations and the like. I use this one to tell when the other gauges are starting to go out. Seems to work pretty well so far.

Anywho, hope this helps.
