I recently purchased an older set of used spyke racing leathers. During shipping one of the shoulder pads hard plastic cracked. It's hard to find replacement shoulder pads for this older suit. So can I just throw in any replacement pads? Or can I just remove them and go to the track without them?

I'd wager a bet that if they cracked in shipping, they wouldn't have served much good on the suit in a crash.
You could try replacing them with some from another suit/brand, but I bet that isn't as simple as it sounds.
If you want to protect your shoulders, I'd recommend an airbag vest that goes over the suit. Best of luck out there. Be safe.

Might call Sage Tailoring or Anthony’s Leatherworks to check their repair (replacement really) options.
