Taping lights

Novice group 5/13 - do I need to pull the fuses for the lights or is taping over them enough?

If you have modern LED lights, you can simply tape over them.
If you have incandescent bulbs, you should unplug or pull fuses then tape.
Basically any light that gets hot can make a mess of the tape/adhesive.

Re the comment about heat: I put on a cardboard cut to shape on top of the headlight and then tape over that. If I pull the headlight fuse on my Thruxton, the bike doesn’t start . . .:-( so taping it is, and the cardboard prevents the tape sticking to the headlight.
