Good morning everyone, we didn't get to the track this season because my son bought a house and money was tight for him. Having had some extra money laying around for track time that I didn't use I decided to rebuild the suspension F/R on my daily. (02 GSXR 750)
Been gathering parts all summer. Bought a used ohlins shock and all new hardware (oem)for the swingarm and linkage.
I bought springs and valves and bushes from RaceTech and all oem bearings and seals for the steering head.
The head bearings came last night so I eagerly opened the package like a child on Christmas morning. Everything looks good but I was surprised how small the steering head bearings are in relation to the actual steering headstock. I am now not sure if they are correct. They are maybe 2 inches diameter does that sound right ?
