yup, that's the fear, it either vibrates loose, or wasn't properly torqued and falls out. Then oil dumps and it takes hours for clean up, depending on if the rider notices and gets off the track and/or is black flagged quickly.

I think the concern is more about the drain plug coming loose and falling out, rather than something hitting it. I guess it would depend on the location of the drain plug. Some of my bikes have them coming out the side, some the bottom...

yeah, just buying gas at the track is easier if you ride to the track, it's just expensive. But better than trying to carry a gas can on your bike, lol. I think the gas stations are at least 20 mins away... I'll likely be a Summit a bunch this year.

On the forum, any of us with "control rider" below our pictures. At the track, they'll be introduced in the morning and will be wearing orange vests out on track. We don't have a list or anything, though.

No. They can catch and flip the bike. Also, they can really dig up the pavement. You'd be better off with frame sliders if you want some protection. Woodcraft makes good ones.
