Andy just one word of advice and that is I noticed from your previous videos and also new ones that you constantly want to pass people on the left side of the track (front straight) coming out of the bowl. Please try not to do that because you WILL get pushed in to the grass one day believe me!Try to set up your pass coming out of the bowl let the rider you're going to pass to drift to the left (normal race line) and you make pass on the right! This is safest pass possible because bikes moving AWAY from each other!
See you next year.

I only got one session on tape from the weekend. Here is a video from my crash in the 3rd session that brought out the red flag. Was having a great time until this, there was 6 prople in front of me and we were all running pretty close I was having a blast. Cause of the crash was either bottoming out the front forks (was riding a GSXR i just bought from my brother and it was sprung for him and not my fat ass) or I cliped the curbing in one. First crash in the 10 years I've been doing this.

I'll have to check my GoPro and see how close I was. I know the dust cloud was still big as ever when I rolled up into Turn 1. Corner worker did a fantastic job of waiving the red/yellow flag within seconds, no way in hell anyone missed that.

just wanted to add somthing. I was wearing my Leatt neck brace during this crash and I think it helped. Every part of my body is sore except my neck. I bounced and rolled 6 times each time catching air before I came to a stop. As long as your not a guy who likes to look behind them all the time I think it is a worth while investment. I have put up this offer before if anyone see's me at a track day I am more then willing to let you try it out to see if you like it.

Still going through a bunch of Photos on my end but a few samples :)

(Taking Photos at NJMP might be the hardest thing I've ever done, 80% of the photos taken would have been impossible to take if I weren't parking and sitting on the top of my Brother's Tacoma!)

Glad you had a great time. I remember seeing you on the track. One thing I remember and notice in the videos is that you are hoping back on the center of the seat when you shift. We need to eliminate this from your riding immediately. I don't remember if we talked about it, but I spoke with several riders this weekend that were doing the same thing and this advice goes for them as well. You need to learn to shift while hanging off the bike.

Hoping back on the center of the seat upsets the bikes suspension and also causes you carry greater lean angle than you need (because you just raised your center of gravity). If you have a standard shift pattern on your bike it is possible but requires more effort to do this well. Switching to a GP shift pattern (with quick shift sensor) will certainly help this. You need to be able to take weight off your left foot so you are able to shift, without moving back on the seat.

The right hand sweeper after turn 5 is not the place you want to hop back on the bike and carry more lean angle. The bridge abutments are very close and you should be as smooth as you can be through that section.

There are some body and foot position techniques that will help this. Next time out grab one of the CR's and ask for a demonstration as we would be happy to help. See you at the track!

Hey Jim thanks again for the help on Saturday. This was the first time out that I was confident enough to shift while bein leaned over so I'll def work on the technique in the next event. Unfortunately for me that won't be until next year. Thanks for a great year NESBA! Shot out to Dion, Todd, and Vinny for helping me improve throughout the season! See you guys next year!

here's my video from saturday I group. I had a green/black CBR. This was my first time at lightning and my 3rd ever trackday. Had a hard time getting my lines down at this track but started feeling better by the end of the day. http://youtu.be/cFSxeyNhfgI
