I purchased this back in September/October of 2020 from another forum member with the intention of it being a starter bike, but ended up picking up a Ninja 400 instead. The bike is currently located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and I'm asking $2,000.
Since I've owned the CBR I have not tracked it; however I did take it to a local shop while living in Northern Virginia that specializes in track/race bikes and had it looked at to verify it was mechanically sound. Below is the description from when I bought it, and anything bolded is work I've had completed professionally with receipt as backup.
It is a track/race bike, and was built accordingly. The bike was originally titled for the street and was involved in a wreck around 5k miles where the frame was damaged. The current mileage is ~8,500. The bike was purchased from a member of a small race team in Kissimmee Florida. They used it as a “B” bike for the WERA and CCS seasons.
The race team acquired the bike and put a brand new OEM Honda frame onto the bike (I have all the paperwork for the frame from Honda). I do not have a title, but the frame paperwork will suffice for anyone wanting to purchase the bike.
