It's just a modification I did to allow you to switch the radiator fan on an off independent of the thermostat. It's a nice mod for the R1 on the street, fan doesn't normally kick on until ~ 200F.

Never really heard of that being done on purpose so I was just wondering. Most are at 200 degrees.

the fan idea actually sounds like a cool idea. My bike is always hot...
