what are you all using for grip adhesive? My tried and true hair spray ain't working anymore, I miss moms Aquanet!

i've heard Gorilla Glue?

yes, i'm safety wiring them, but still slipping too much for me

Interesting. I've never used glue. Just cleaned them and installed with air compressor.

Been happy with my stuff from pro taper. It's just CA glue. Works great.

Update: hair spray dried, grip won't move!

Hair spray will start slipping if it gets wet but if it is wired then hopefully no water gets through to it. I use Gorilla glue myself.

Lots and lots of non-ca style grip glue. I also scuff the surfaces a lot.

I've had plenty of grips slip, even glued!

Spray paint, not too much but just enough that the grip slides on. Let it dry and they won’t move. Been doing this for years, do it with my Mx bikes too and I don’t wire the grips and they have never moved.
