High milage Track bike?

My 04 gsxr 600 is probably around 25-28k miles now.

Has anyone ever turned something with that many miles into a dedicated tracker? (Eventually my goal for this bike)

I have an '05 600RR i bought with 17k. Had no intentions of riding street and turned into a 'tracker' only. Currently at 24k and I have no intentions on selling it so mileage is an afterthought. I'll ride it til it dies.

I got about 40k on my gixxer a combo of street and track...might actually hit that 40k mark this weekend. Done about 60+/- Track Days on it. So far so good. I bought the bike brand new and had it at the track within weeks of purchase. Maintenance is key methinks.

25k of street miles is nothing to worry about, assuming normal maintenance...Send it to the track, it's what it was made for!;)
