How many people are riding all 3 days? Im driving down from NY but Im only riding Fri and Sun cause I figured 3 days in a row would be killa. Am I being stupid? I did see that Sat was still open so I have a chance. I been riding for years, just never 3 TDs in a row, Is it overkill?

I did three consecutive days there last year in July. It was tough, but I didn't notice it seemed that much different than two days. My legs were sore on Monday, but they are after two days as well. Consecutive days do give you the chance to think things through, make some changes and hone your skills.

For April, I'm signed up for Friday and Saturday only. It will be my first event of this season and I don't want to overdo it.

I may do two days. Signed up for Friday so far. Would love to have days of track time.
Depends on the wallet. April 3-5 going to be in Atlanta for the Suzuki Superbike Showdown. Plus I hoping to get my bike fully safey wired during that week.

You guys must be haulin ass to get down there in 16 hrs! From NYC it takes us 12 to 14 hrs of going 75 to 85. I made the trip by myself 2 yrs ago and the bike was in the back of the truck and it took 12 hrs. Last year i had my trailer and it took 14 hrs.
How long would it take to get to NYC from where you are? Add that to 12 hrs and that should be about the right amount of time.

Chris

PS Bear you suck! :nutkick:

steph1000;35522 wrote: any of you guys would know how many riders per group i should expect for that week end???and how many do they let on the track at once??? most of the trackdays in canada they only let out 5 every 30 seconds and the groups are never more than 30..thanks
I'd say they usually let out 7 to 10 riders in each group with a control rider and have roughly 30 to 40 riders per class. That's a real estimate as Road Atlanta is very popular with riders and usually has a very good turnout. Often you'll have some AMA guys out there with you to get some track time.
