Looking forward to seeing everyone at Summit Main on Monday.

In preparation for the weekend, here are a few things to keep in mind….

SCCA is at Summit Main on Saturday and Sunday, which means we will not likely be able to enter the paddocks until 5 or 6pm Sunday evening. If you arrive early, you’ll have to wait in the holding area to the right of the entry gates until you are cleared for entry. There is no charge for camping on Sunday night.

ELECTRICITY CHANGES FOR 2019 AT SUMMIT POINT! Thanks to Alex Spellman for the heads up, Summit Point has changed their power policy in 2019. Please see the attached pic for details!

Tech and registration will start promptly at 7am and close at 8am. A MANDATORY riders meeting will be at 8:15am near hot pit. No exceptions for the riders meeting. As an aside - we will be covering some rule changes for 2019 so pay close attention! If you’re going to be on the track, you need to be at the riders meeting. If you miss Tech/Registration by 8am, you’ll just need to wait until the first sessions are out on the track and we have staff available to take care of you. We strongly encourage registering in advance, in which case you’ll only need to bring your bike, gear (helmet, boots, gloves, leathers) and your ID with you for tech. Otherwise please go to the registration desk prior to getting in line for tech. Please remember that there are limits for each group, so if your group is already full we will not be able to register you the day of the event. Again – advance registration is the way to go!

As this is the first event of 2019 for us in the NE, check your account and make sure you are in the correct group. If you got a bump at Roebling or CMP this year, make sure that bump has been processed. If there is an issue contact Support support@n2td.org prior to Monday (or any other event you plan on attending). We will not change your group the morning of an event. Only current Expert Race License members can be bumped to Advanced without an evaluation. If you ride "Advanced" in any other organization, we will be happy to put eyes on you and evaluate you for the bump. These typically happen on the 3rd session or after lunch. To get an evaluation feel free to ask a coach to evaluate you for a bump. They will typically tell you to be the first or second rider in the center lane and go out directly behind the first coach. We want you to be in the group that reflects your riding as much as you do.

Feel free to contact support@n2td.org in advance with any questions. I’m looking forward to seeing a bunch of old and new faces next week!!
