Factory Honda MotoGP rider Luca Marini has been seriously injured while testing for this year's Suzuka 8 Hour, suffering significant injuries at the Japanese circuit following a crash on Wednesday
Just watched the sprint for the new MotoTP championship... Am I the only one losing interest fast over racing being run based on % of Tire Pressure in each event?
In 2026, MotoGP is expected to maintain the current minimum tire pressure rules. These rules mandate a minimum front tire pressure of 1.8 bar and require riders to maintain this pressure for at least 60% of the race distance in Grand Prix races, and 30% in Sprint races. Failure to comply with these rules results in a time penalty.
Blame Dorna.... Michelin has tried to make a new front tire but needed testing time and approval. Dorna never pushed for it.... just added more rounds and left it alone.
Jan, a former Brno marshal, and his daughter Karolina are both big VR46 fans, so enjoy how their weekend at the Czech GP turned into a very special occasion
All-electric MotoGP support series MotoE will go on what MotoGP has described as a "hiatus" at the end of 2025, following a failure "to gain sufficient traction within our fanbase"
Agusto Fernandez FP2 gap on it is the same ~1.2 as his I4 times on other tracks
Im taking extremely optimistic liberties with that news and assuming the V4- whose engine is turned down power wise for reliability and aero is still built around the I4 BTW- is within shooting range of the current I4 bike performance wise
Still bummed that MotoGP is becoming even more of a spec series with this move but thats a worthy price to see my boy Fabio where hes supposed to be. The only rider on the grid more talented than FQ20 is MM93
