What gear do I need?

Hello. Can someone tell me what all I need for my first track day? Leathers, boots, gloves and helmet? Are there any specifications I should know?

Yup, Riders Manual should outline all gear and tech requirements. The helmet needs to be a full-face helmet (no modulars). If the leathers are two-piece, they need to have a full circumference zipper, not the short 6-8" one just across the back. Motorcycle-specific armored boots (i.e not work boots or thin leather without support), and gauntlet gloves. A back protector is strongly recommended, although I don't think required.

When you bring your bike to tech inspection, you'll need to bring all your gear to be inspected.

Judy nice job outlining the requirements! My only add, this is the gear that will protect you if you crash, try to get the best gear you can afford. there are varied levels of gear and you only have one you so protect it as well as you can.
