What kinda bolt is this?

I find myself needing to remove it, but have no idea what type of tool I need to use. It looks like a typical hex allen wrench would work, but there is a pin sticking out the middle.

What type of wrench do I need, and where would you find it?

That is "tamper proof torx"
You should be able to find tools for it from Harbour Freight to more expensive brands Snap-on,MAC etc.
I would highly recomended to get one of those well known brands because of quality and warranty!

Or if you're in a pinch, you can use a center punch and a BFH and break that stupid pin off, then use a regular torx on it.

Buy QUALITY torx bits, especially the tamper proof ones. There isn't much metal on those bits, and cheap ones break very easily.

Yep. What Kappy said. Lowes, HD, Sears Hardware, any place that sells tools. Looks like a T40.

It did end up being a T40 size, but the first two places I went to didn't have them. Home Depot had a combo one for ten bucks, which worked like a charm.
