Where to stay Pocono 8/31

So I guess you can't camp at the track, does anyone know of a cheap hotel, or a campsite to pitch a tent????

Any help would be apprecitated. I'm thinking of just driving ~3 hrs sunday morning. Any good alternatives?

i live 2-2.5 hrs away and decided it wasn't worth driving the am since i need tires mounted sunday morning.

the bestwestern blakeslee is full (except for smoking rooms) so i booked the blakeslee inn.

Has anyone ever camped out near Pocono?

There is a campsite with showers, toilets, etc. a mile or so past the entrance to Pocono. Check out the pocono website (http://www.poconoraceway.com/camping_rules.asp) for information. Goog Luck!
