XT Lap timers...anyone still use these?

Was digging through a box in the garage and found an old XT lap timer. Anyone still use these and actually put a beacon out at events? I haven't run a lap timer in years so I don't plan to use it, was just curious.

Used to but run an Aim Solo 2 now. Much better IMO.

Haha, I still have one of the originals from 2002, and a beacon. I also haven't timed myself in years...
Doubt a beacon is out very often if at all. The GPS timers have been around for years now.
