Priced to sell, need room in garage for new track bike. One every 10 years, right? Will be riding it on Sunday 9/22 at Summit, Jefferson Circuit unless you buy it first.
Bought used in 2004 with under 2k miles, street & track for a few years, then just track. Easy and fun to ride with broad spread of power. Good solid bike, it just works.
-Stock engine, just a slip on.
-Penske triple clicker shock sprung and valved for 200 lb rider
-Ohlins internals in forks, set up by CTR, serviced this last winter (sadly, only three track days ago).
-Scotts steering damper
-520 conversion, stock gearing
-s/s brake lines front and rear
-Sharkskinz bodywork
-new sprockets and chains included (not installed)
-odds and ends (oil filters, air filter, new in box oem fender, ???)
-clean title
The price reflects the one problem I’ve ever had. On my most recent track day, the ignition switch failed on. No matter where I turn the key, it stays on. Didn’t affect me because the starter button and on/off toggle unaffected. With toggle in the off position, it doesn’t energize the fuel pump so there’s very little power draw. And I always take the battery out and put it on battery tender when I get home (no power in garage, sucks).
