Battery!

No, not the Metallica tune. That thing that makes the motorbike start. Mine died today about a mile from the house and left me with a beautiful Ducati 851 that would not start.

So, I pushed it home. The best part? It has nearly a full tank of fuel to add to the resistance. What a workout! I recommend it for anyone who may be wishing that they hit the gym more and the fridge less during the off season.

Lesson learned. Check the battery before blasting out of the garage :banghead:

Was it just dead, or did the plates collapse?

I don't think the plates collapsed as it does take a charge when hooked up to the battery tender. It just doesn't hold that charge.
