Brembo RCS19 M/C Fitment??

I ordered up the Brembo RCS19 Master Cylinder for my '01 Gixxer 750. Everything hooked up fine with one problem: I cannot do a full left-turn lock without the adjuster screw hitting the right side of the instrument panel! :banghead:

I am not the original owner of this bike and I don't know if the original clip-ons are present. I am wondering if that isn't my solution: longer clip-ons so I can clear - on full left turns - the instrument panel. Or, is it possible to make a little "cut-out" on the right side instrument cover for the adjuster screw to clear??

Anyone else have an issue like this?? :dunno:

it takes a lot of playing around to make it work right on my ZX6R. I pretty much have my clipons all the way out and had to play with the angle some to make it not touch.

if you have clip ons, is allways is going to touch your panell.

mine touch it when I am trying to turn the bike around my garage, but for track of street you dont need to turn your handel bars that much
