Bye-bye BMW; hello Suzuki...

After riding my BMW K1200S for 9 track days since last fall, I finally jumped on the bandwagon and acquired an appropriate track bike - 2001 GSX-R750. My inaugural event for this bike is Labor Day weekend at Putnam. My goal: to increase both the fun factor and my limited :banghead: track skills!!

P.S. The Beemer still takes up space in my garage. It was only demoted...

Gus I did exactly (bought a track bike) the same thing in 2007. At first it was difficult to get used to the twitchiness of a true sportbike, but after about a half a day, I was lowering my lap times. Now I can't imagine lugging that big beast around the track. I still love my K1200S, but it is made for the street.
