I think the biggest thing that bothers me the most is the fact they're playing the "whoa is me" card on how much they're in debt because of this. It just reinforces the point, yet again, that you never take something out on the track you wouldn't mind tossing in the dumpster if it all went FUBAR.

Exactly. Bike could be trash in a split second. They hold up surprisingly well usually.
