Experience Transporting Bike Inside Honda Odyssey?

Greetings,

Please share your experience with transporting a motorcycle (e.g Honda CBR600, Yamaha R6), gear, tools, etc. for a track day, inside a Honda Odyssey minivan.

Did you have to remove any bodywork or parts to get the bike to fit?
Was there any room to fit a couple of standard rectangular 12 gallon plastic crates?
Do you have any photos?

You'll probably have to remove the windscreen to get it inside and have enough roof clearance when inside.
Measure the opening, inside the van, and your bike from windscreen to ground to be sure. Width shouldn't be an issue.

Measure your bike from front wheel to rear/tail to make sure you have room in the back compartment as far as length of the bike goes.

Then, do you have anchor points within the van for tie downs?

If all that works out, you should be good.

If not a cheap trailer from Harbor freight with a Pit Bill TRS system is a great economy transport system to tow behind the van.
