helmet certification

Is the ECE-22-05 still going to be good for next year? I understand that is what the Snell 2012 is based on. I wish they would update in sync. I am using VEMAR which is ECE 22-05 and it was pricey I hate to get a new one already.

When was the helmet manufactured? It will either be on an inside label, or like my Arai, it could be engraved on the d-ring.

I think it says 2008 but blurry from sweat. It has a hand written label
