so he is not clipping 180MPH ..
The way he is geared he may be getting into the 140 range... If you listen closely he is not getting into 6th down the straight he gets to 5th carries it only for a short while and then clicks down to 2nd...
That is why out of a few turns it seems the guy in front of him pulls out of the turns faster... then he catches him at the end of long runs...
watch the video again and just listen for shifts... when you really start motoring you should play with sprockets and see what works best at different tracks 1 tooth up in the back and he would be pulling out of the turns better but in a few sports he would have to add an extra shift..
