Is my wheel beyond repair?

Had a bearing go out on me this past weekend at RA and almost made me spill. thanks to good Samaritans at the paddock I was back on track in no time. I took the wheel apart and tapped out the bearings out (well one of them lol) and noticed the hole where the inner spacer sits to be larger and grooved up pretty badly. I have new bearings and other parts needed already on the way, but now I'm curious whether that will even do any good.

Here's few pics of the bad side

notice the lip in the middle of that hole

and the good side.....

any input will be very much appreciated

I think youre OK. The important thing is where the bearing is pressed into the wheel. Ideally, nothing will be touching where you show. As long as the bearing didn't spin inside the wheel and wear out the hole its pressed in, you should be OK.
