Today is really a great day, because last night the college where I played basketball beat the No. 1 seed Virginia in the first round of the NCAA tournament. I haven't played college basketball since 1991, but I felt like I was part of the team watching them create history. For the first time ever a No. 16 seed beat a No. 1 seed.
I couldn't be any prouder of the team and I wish them the best of luck tomorrow night against Kansas State. I may have to crack open my old jersey and wear it for their game. It rests proudly in my basement right next to a picture my wife had made of me on my 3rd trackday back in 2004. GO RETRIEVERS!!!!!!!
