Qualifier wear bars

the wear bars of my dunlop qualifiers are starting to become even with the rest of the tire on just one side. i know that they will not be as good in the wet now but i'm wondering about dry grip. i would suppose that as the tread wears down they become more like a slick? is the tread or lack of going to effect dry grip?

Yes grip is reduced both dry and wet (imho).

I knew you'd get back on that horse

I've ridden my Qualifiers down to the wear bar and replaced them.

I would replace or flip, if you can, the tire that has the wear bars even with the remainder of the tire.

But if it interfers with your confidence in any way, REPLACE IT
