First Track Day

I'll be at the Track Day on Friday and might try to watch some weekend events. This will be my first track day so I will be the guy trying to not do something stupid. I'll also be looking for any advice that's available.

In for Fri-Sat pending the tranmission getting fixed and finding a good excuse to duck out of work. Terreance says it shouldn't be a problem, just waiting on one extra-long 10mm wrench to remove an auckward bolt in the case. 5 Jun is actually a big day here at work, but I seem to recall a medical appointment I had previously scheduled.

I doubt I will be racing seeing as I still haven't renewed my license.

Is this a trackday or a race event like 5/10/09?

If it's a racing event with 2-3 waves in A, I'm IN but if it's a trackday with a supermotard type grid of 8 riders... count me out!

We're doing rolling starts after a sighting lap, then the track goes green... right?

It's a Main date on the Friday before a race weekend, you know it's going to be busy.
