I started up my wifes kawi 250R yesterday and let it idle for a bit since it's been sitting for a while. I noticed when I came back that the header pipes comming off the engine had turned bright red. Anyone know why this would happen?

I gotta say thanks to all the CR's that rode with me in B group Sat and Sun. I learned a ton this weekend and felt really good. First time running a track in the rain on Sat, getting wet that evening, but Sun was awesome! Thanks to my pit mate Danny for the advise as well! Felt really good...

So I just replaced my stator about a year ago, went out, at the same time I got a recall done for the regulator/rectifier, but my stator just went out again. I haven't taken a look at it yet, but I'm fairly certain that's the problem. What would cause me to keep having this issue?
