If my riding scares you, just imagine how I feel
I am not trying to overthink this. But i am still trying to wrap my head around a few new concepts.
FWIW:
Intermediate group
Track bike: 2005 sv650 with OEM forks (springs/fluid for track days) and penske shock
Tires: SC1 front and rear
My plan for the morning at Pitt this weekend is to set my pressures on the lower end of Pirelli’s pressure chart. Off the warmers: 30 front, 26 rear. Outside air temp should be around 60. So, kind of on the cold-side for slicks? My plan is to work on smooth braking and throttle (to make sure i maintain heat in the tires), and ease into the lean angle/corner speed, gradually. Obviously, my plan will likely go down the drain and i’ll be making adjustments on the fly.
BUT is this the right way of thinking?
