06 gixxers with armour bodies

Ok I know there are some out there.
What are you using to attach the rear of upper fairing to the frame area where the rubber gromut is?

I know i can make something work but thought I would see what others have done.

Hi Tony. I used a wellnut. You can get them at Home Depot, Lowe's, or any hardware store that sells fasteners. I forget what size I used, but it fit loosely in the hole (I'd have liked a snugger fitting, but the next size up didn't fit). However, once I tightened up the screw, it snugged up nicely. I got a decent length screw, and put a washer on both sides of the bodywork, with a rubber washer underneath the one on the outside, just to prevent scuffing, cracking.

Go to www.optimalracing.com and look under accessories. They have some spacers that are made for that application for $10.
