I’m an engineer and retired racer who has owned this bike for the last 5 years and was friends with the previous owner. I have ridden the bike on average 5-6 times per year for track days only. I only got out twice this year. Oil changed after every weekend or 2 track days. I've only crashed it once since I've been the owner. It just happened to be the last weekend I rode it in the new turn 12 at Road Atlanta; the slowest turn on the track. There was only cosmetic damage, as I didn't have to replace a single part after the slow speed low side on the right. Mechanically the bike is solid and runs strong. Let's face it; if you're shopping for this age and type of track bike, you will likely never be able to ride it as fast as it is currently capable of going. Not that I am the fastest rider in the paddock but for reference this bike in its current trim with me on it has ran 1:16 Putnam; 2:38 Road America; 1:03 Talladega; 1:39 VIR; 1:27 Grattan; 1:36 Barber. If you would like to see some on bike video of this thing in action, here is a lap around RA following two friends on GSXR 750’s. You might recognize the two riders, hint: they are both CR’s . If you listen close you can hear me looking for 7th gear. :D As I said, this bike is very well set up and runs strong.

The bike comes with a clean IL title and the original frame, which has a broken steering head bearing. The frame on the bike is clean and straight with no VIN number.

Comes with the following spare parts:

Wheels front and rear with rotors and cush drive, MOTGP painted blue stripes
Graves Titanium exhaust canister, New
Billet Tech engine covers, New
AK Composite complete bodywork, New never mounted, primer gray
Gas Tank, professionally painted blue and white
Sub-frame; New
Graves fairing stay, like new
Spare right side fairing stay arm
2 Graves fairing stay cluster mounts
2 16T front sprockets; 1 new, 1 used
46, 48, 49, 50 tooth rear sprockets
Front axle
Oil Filter, new Yamaha
Clutch cover gasket, new Yamaha
Ignition cover gasket, new Yamaha
Stator cover gasket, new Yamaha
2 brake levers, new
2 CFM left side foot pegs
CFM right side foot peg
CFM brake pedal, new
CFM shift/brake lever toe-tip

Unfortunately it doesn’t look quite like this since the low side but can be made to look this way again by minor repairs and fresh paint or just painting up the fresh new bodywork. Part of the fun is customizing the bike to look how you want it to. I do professional painting on the side and might be able to work a deal with the new owner if requested. The bike is tucked away in the corner of the garage for winter and surrounded by my Jeep restoration parts. I’ll take the time to pull it out for current pictures for serious buyers if needed. It has right side scratches on the upper, lower and tail. The tank also has a few scratches but was not dented. Minor cracks in the fairings have already been reinforced with fiberglass.
