2005 r6 rebuild. BIG PROBLEMS

I have been helping some friends try to rebuild a wrecked 2005 r6. Everything has been going ok until today when we came across this massive crack in the top end of the motor. Is this worth trying to fix? :banghead:

Looks like just the head. Find one on ebay and replace it, or buy a new motor. Replacing the motor is pretty simple and should be to much. The head is a little more involved but not to bad.

HOLY S#@$ An impact that twisted the frame / engine enough to do that may have (most likely both) tweaked the frame and or engine cases. GMD and either a new engine or a very good tuner to check what is left of the old one. As for fixing the head, NO. But you were not really asking about that were you?
