I'm selling my 2008 Suzuki GSXR 600 that is fully race/track prepped. The bike was Bobby Fong's AMA supersport Safety First Racing motorcycle for the 2008 season. I bought the bike from Safety First Racing at the end of the 2008 AMA season and have owned it since then. The motor was refreshed by Mark Junge (Vesrah Suzuki) and custom mapped on a dyno for 93 octane pump gas when I bought the bike. The bike has many trick parts on it and is ready to ride!
The bike includes a signed certificate of origin that will allow you to obtain a title if you want. I was a CR with NESBA and recently have been coaching with Midwest track days. Most of this bikes usage was CR'ing in the beginner group with a handful of advanced sessions. I never personally raced the bike.
Oil was changed regularly with Motorex Power SYNT4T full synthetic oil.
I have full documentation for the bikes history. Recent maintenance includes:
- chain and front/rear sprockets were replaced 8 track days ago
- spark plugs were new replaced 6 track days ago
- the OEM air filter was replaced 13 track days ago
- the dunlop tires on the bike and oil/filter have 3 days on (that's all I rode in 2014)
The bike is sprung for a 150 pound rider.
The only thing I would say the bike will need before too long is to refresh the forks (all parts included, see below) and the battery may be about ready to be replaced (it still started fine in 2014 and this spring (2015) but the battery is 6 years old now). This bike has always been fast and keeps up with newer 600’s and with a good drive off the corner, even the 750’s.
