209 vs 211 front tire wear?

I see Dunlop has a lower price for D209GPA front and D211GPA rear vs. a D211GPA set. Will the 209 wear about the same as the 211? This will be my first attempt at higher spec tires so I was thinking the 209+211 combo might be a good starting point. However, if the 209 is prone to wearing faster than a 211 then it might be worthwhile to just go with a full 211 set. Thanks!

I've run dunlops for a decade at all riding levels, both street and track, across a number of generations of tires made both in the US and in the UK (along with some pirellis thrown in for good measure), and NEVER liked the 209 fronts. The 209 rears were good, but the fronts had a sort of spooky lack of grip at unexpected times. I think there are 209 fronts left over and being blown out with a pair of better, albeit too-soft rears (my opinion) for a reason. The US-made 211s and slicks are great, and pretty damn cheap compared to the UK spec stuff.

I'd buy the 211GPAs in like a medium front, and the hardest rear available. They rock.
