Just finished up the top end rebuild on this bike so it's up for sale. Details:
For sale is a '93 Honda NSR250 2-stroke track bike. It's got about 15k miles on the clock, and although it comes with all the lights, signals, mirrors,etc, it is a grey-market import and therefore not titled or registered. I just completed a complete top end job and did about 4 static heat cycles to break it in. Does not come with stand.
Factoids about bike:
- Bought from Speedwerks in DE last April and did 2.5 track days on it
- Brand new top end (pistons, rings, etc) with no track miles, just static break-in heat cycles
- Has freshly powdercoated wheels, new pads, chain, fluids, paint (with some scuffs from loading and riding). Has NOT been dropped or crashed.
- Converted to pre-mix but still have the stock injectors if you wanted to re-install it
- Comes with some spare oem bodywork, a clean spare 3.5 inch front wheel, spare carbs, shock,etc...
- I upgraded to reservoir shock from a SP model and will throw in a Brembo front master cylinder (not installed yet).
Price is $4500 cash and local pickup only in Chantilly.
It weighs about 250lbs and cranks 55hp: fun toy at Jefferson circuit!
