I have the same gloves and feel the same way about the fit.
I have the medium size and it's a tight squeeze past the wrist but the fingers feel slightly baggy. (Length is okay.)
Did you get a small size to try the fit due to the same issue by chance?

I really like the gloves, but wish they fit a bit more snug.
