IL engine builder

I have recently moved to IL (chicago suburbs) and would like to have my engine build. Does anyone know of a reputable shop in the Chicagoland area?

There's a guy (Resurection) on CLSB (chicagolandsportbikes.com) who does engine work, as well as NESBA MW trackside vendor Turn One Racing. Joe at Turn One does builds, the other guy does restorations, mostly IIRC.

Also Kevin at Safety First still does work in the Chicago area. He's on CLSB as well.

I'm sure there are others, these are just off the top of my head.

It's not Chicago but 35motorsports (IN) or Vesrah (WI) will build you a motor.

It would help to know what type of motor you need built. could narrow the field down a bit.

:agree: good point If you want a Aprilia built there are just a handfull of folks/places in the USA ( how did the wizard do ?)

I know drucker has built some fast GSXRs for himself and others and some Yamahas for Dan Ortega.

It's a 08 gsxr 600. I found a shop near my house for a relative cheap top end build. Thanks guys!

Not all engine builders are "good engine builders".... find a shop / guy you trust.
