No Summit Point for WERA this year...

The B Team

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Speculation is what your comment seemed to imply.
There were/are multiple bids in place for corner working Summit Point events.
I too wish MARRC would have succeeded.
However business is business. Unfortunately.
Cheers.

In line with the thread, my intention was meant to note another instance of the overall trials and tribulations of orgs attempting to race at Summit this year, presumably as they try to make ends meet with the sharp increase in track rental fees. Apologies if it didn't come off that way. As stated, I didn't add anything else because I have nothing further to add...I have not personally raced at Summit or with ASRA or CCS before them. I have ridden there though and, presuming they are also the ones that also preside over the track days, I am sorry to hear that you think that this marks the end of MARRC. I have always felt that the corner workers at SMP are the most attentive and professional of the tracks at which I've ridden.

I do enjoy the MARRC folks, seem like a cool group. (except this one old guy who thinks my high vis safety cone orange vest could be confused for a yellow flag, lol)
