Question about unusual tire wear

Hi,
I am returning to track riding this year after a 5 year hiatus. I have put three days in on an old set of Metzler Sportec M3 tires and have noticed a buildup of rubber "boogers" on the front tire. It does not happen on the rear. I'm attaching pics of both.

I'm curious if I can learn anything, or nothing, from this buildup. These tires feel like the are sliding a bit, so I'd like to replace them soon anyway.

OK, cool. I thought those boogers would have flown off at some point.

Does not look to bad, rebound is off a little, in the second picture, the sipe in the middle, one edge that is schampered and there is debris on the other side of it. Really not that bad, if the bike fells good, leave it alone.
