I hate problem like this, but I wanted to throw it out there and see if anybody can help.
I have a un-popular bike for the track, but since its a Honda maybe someone will know. Its a 1997VFR750. Today I was practicing some cornering technigues in my local spot when leaning to the left the bike started to make a weird grindy, pinging sound. This only appears to happen when I lean it to the left?
The sound is intermittant and sounds like its coming from the rotor, clutch slave area, but I could be wrong. I can get the bike to make the sound running, sitting still and leaning it over so it doesn't have to be moving.
Lastly, this bike is taken care of so all fluids are fine (have been changed recently) and the bike runs fine. No shifting issues, pulling issues, anything.
Any ideas?
