    News on Fred Duncan

Fred was one of the very first people I met when I started riding with NESBA Midwest and attended an Intro Day. He was always a source of encouragement, good humor and someone you could always count on to tell you like it is. He will truly be missed by many. I'm sure we'll get to ride...

Would you come back to NESBA?

Haven't even been on this site in ages... Sold my track bike when NESBA Midwest folded up shop... I've been spending my time riding in the woods on a Husqvarna TE 310 with friends and having a blast. I do miss the Midwest Paddock and the friends I made there, but they folded up shop about the...

Suspension was set up for 185 pound rider (without gear) ideally, but can be adjusted to up to about a 195 pound rider or down to about a 175 pound rider with the remote preload on the Ohlins or by adjusting preload on the GP Suspension in the forks.

For Sale - 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 Track Bike - Well Prepped

Parts are not as easy to source as a GSXR, but I have never had any trouble finding parts that I've needed and the aftermarket parts support for this bike is greater than any other in Triumph's history. There are specific forums for them where there is ample opportunity for parts procurement.

For Sale - 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 Track Bike - Well Prepped

It saddens me to be posting up my track bike for sale… I’m a high school principal (former Industrial Arts/Shop teacher) and I’ve started a doctoral program in Educational Administration so I have no free time to attend track days right now and NESBA has suspended track days in the Midwest...

    MW Schedule

Well, this is a terribly sad turn of events, but one I must say I am not terribly surprised to see materialize. Let me extend a personal thank you to Fred Duncan, Brian Wink, Ron Hix, Chris Frye, Erik Rodriguez, Steve Palella, Garth Cloyd, Marshall Skloss, Joe Denowh, Tom Tiernan, Jon Gu...

    Tow Vehicle Advice

Well, in the end... I ended up deciding to keep the Rover and fix it myself. While it isn't the perfect tow vehicle, it is paid for, the insurance buyback was very reasonable, and I have access to a complete auto body repair facility and the ability to do all of the repair myself. Given the...

    Tow Vehicle Advice

Thanks Frank... Appreciate the insight... The reason I need a 4x4 has more to do with work requirements than anything else. Even when school is cancelled due to weather, I have to be there as close to my regular arrival time of 7:00 AM as reasonably possible, so, even though I wouldn't use it...

    Tow Vehicle Advice

SG2, The 7.3 was last in production mid 2003. It is by far, the most sought after diesel in the Ford line. The 6.0 has been riddled with problems. Head bolts stretch and cause head gasket failure, there is an issue with the back two cylinders with either fuel starvation or oil starvation (can't...
