05 R6 triple tree

Will an 05 triple tree fit an 08 R6S? I have found another broken part following a crash in turn one at black hawk last summer. The list keeps getting longer. Trying to get an answer so that i can buy a replacement that is listed for sale on the forum/

'05 R6 came with an inverted fork. The '08 R6S has a conventional fork. You could possibly use an '03/ 04 triple, or an '06 and later R6S part.

Good to know. thanks. the stock part is made of unobtainium. Very pricey. Anybody out there have a 08
r6S lower triple tree?
