Due to a very busy schedule for 2017, I have decided to sell my 2006 Suzuki SV650S (13,625 miles) and I am asking $2,950. I used it last year at VIR & NC Bike. The bike runs great. A street conversion kit is available in case you want to use on the road (additional pictures / video available upon request).

2006 Suzuki SV650S Track Bike with 13,625 miles -- Fuel-injected motorcycle featuring a V-twin engine. This bike is a workhorse! The engine is super clean (not a drop of oil -- see picture), very smooth, very forgiving and is ideal for somebody who wants to start going to the track. The injection means it starts right away every time and there is no maintenance.
If you are new to riding on the track, you may be advised to start out on a 350. Although this is good advice, you will probably find yourself wanting a bigger bike after only a couple days of riding. With this bike, you'll be able to go through one or more seasons before even considering a new one. I thanked my friends for giving me that advice.
With about 68 HP and a very linear power curve, this bike is very forgiving. It really enables you to focus on your skills and your line. Its top speed is about 115MPH (yes, the limiter will kick in if you push it too hard). The bike is a lot of fun; the best part is "letting" other riders pass you on the straightaway at 140MPH and then catch up with them in the turns!
The bike has been stored in a garage and is permanently connected to a battery tender.
The bike is sold "AS-IS".
Components: The bike was upgraded over the years, in particular, to improve the suspension. The bike handles great (I weight about 150 lbs). Just to put things in perspective, it was not unusual for me to follow bikes with much more power that were barely staying up because their chassis was flexing all over the place.

Street Usage Accessories: Although the bike is set up for the track, it used to be a street bike. It comes with all the accessories necessary to set it up that way if so desired. The rear fairing is broken (see picture) in 2 places, but this does not affect structural integrity once mounted.
Battery tender is included.

Therefore you will not be able to test drive it; you will only be able to start it (can send video upon request).
