You’re looking at a 2007 Yamaha R6 race/track bike
I purchased the bike a few years ago when the owner turned it to track duty at 8k street miles, and realized after a few track days he couldn’t afford the sport.
I’ve really enjoyed the bike and it’s been a blast to ride. This R6 has put me on the podium numerous times this year at the WERA rounds, so it’s extremely competitive. The bike has been extremely reliable and meticulously maintained. I’ve used Silkolene oil, and it’s changed after every race weekend.
I had two low sides this year, so the fairings aren’t perfect. The pictures show the small scuffs, and imperfections. Neither low side was enough to do any real damage, but I wanted to be open about the condition of the bodywork.
I’m listing the bike for $5,500, and the spares are available for an additional $1,000.
