I haven't heard of any changes on the R1. Read the recent review of the liter bikes in Roadracing World. I'll keep my '05 for a while! I'm most impressed with the new Honda 1000RR. I think it looks fine, but haven't seen it in person.

The 09 R1 is drastically different from the 05 R1.
