Adjusting to both track and bike

I bought a 1996 Buell factory race bike. I've made it around the neighborhood without attracting unwanted attention, and want to do the track day thing at VIR, Summit Point, or Barbour as soon as possible.
What do you think about adjusting to a real race bike with the folded up riding position and track days at the same time? It's not like I can adjust to the bike somewhere else.

Welcome. Have you been riding street for awhile on other bikes (or the Buell), or are you also brand-new to riding?
Sign up in the B group and take your time, work with the CRs, and have fun!

Welcome to nesba. You'll have fun. Just relax and take your time you'll be fine.
As Judy said, get with some CR's and work on the basics.

Read some books on riding and get out there and do it. I suspect it won't take long at all to adjust.

Just have fun.
