Bike Question

As some of you know from my long post in the last forum I have been looking for a track bike. I just found a great deal on a CBR1000RR and wanted to know if it is an ok bike for the track.

I would love to buy that, but I'm looking for bike in the 4K range... I just found a never droped 2006 CBR 1000RR with a clear title for sale in my price range... I'm thinking about buying the bike and selling it even if its not a good track bike if everything checks out.

We did go over it in the old board... sorry. But the good news is that I just bought a track bike . 2001 GSX-R 600 with a Penske Rear Shock, Traxxion front end, 520 conversion and a few other setups for the track.
